Bob Dylan coming to Woodinville in June
Legendary singer and songwriter Bob Dylan will perform June 4-5 at Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery in Woodinville. Dylan announced early Monday that he and his band will tour the United States in June and July.
The tour is in support of Dylan’s new album “Fallen Angels.” The 27 shows will be his first in North America since May.
The Woodinville shows kick off the U.S. portion of his 2016 tour, after Dylan performs 15 shows in Japan.
Opening for Dylan, 74, during his U.S. tour stops will be Mavis Staples.
In six decades of performing, Dylan has won 11 Grammy Awards, one Academy Award and one Golden Globe Award. He has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and presented the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Tickets go on sale Saturday at ticketmaster.com or at the winery shop from 10 a.m.-5 p.m daily. Fans who buy tickets for the Woodinville shows will receive a redemption code to get a CD of “Fallen Angels.” The album is out May 20, according to reports.
