R&B singer Charlie Wilson to play the Washington State Fair

Nine-time Grammy nominee R&B singer Charlie Wilson will perform Sept. 16 at the Washington State Fair as part of the Columbia Bank concert series. Tickets go on sale April 30.

Now 61, Wilson just released his sixth solo album in January, including the hit single “Goodnight Kisses,” and continues to tour extensively, performing about 50 concerts and festivals a year. He is in remission for prostate cancer, and has been an active spokesperson for awareness about the disease.

Appearing with Wilson at the fair will be R&B singer Joe.
