Tickets for “The Camping Trip,” an eight-tour tour by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis of smaller venues in Washington, sold out within two hours.

Macklemore announced the mini-tour on his Instagram account, touting visits to eight towns and tickets selling for $20 each. The venues reported selling out by noon.

After spending much of the summer touring the world together, the homegrown artists will visit Washington venues in August and September. The duo has scheduled eight performances in the Evergreen State, including Enumclaw, Olympia and Bremerton.

The performers are touring the United States and Canada through late June, then begin a swing around the world that will include stops in Norway, Hungary, Finland and Australia. After a performance Aug. 13 in Jakarta, Indonesia, “The Camping Trip” tour will start Aug. 23 in Spokane. The Puget Sound portion includes performances Aug. 27 at the Chalet Theater in Enumclaw, Aug. 28 at Olympia’s Capitol Theater and Aug. 31 at the Admiral Theater in Bremerton.

Macklemore, a 32-year-old native of Seattle, has released four albums. His single with Lewis, “Thrift Shop,” reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2013. They followed that up with another No. One hit with “Can’t Hold Us,” making them the first duo to have their first two singles top the charts.

In 2014, their joint album “The Heist,” and the single “Thrift Shop,” earned the duo four Grammy Awards.

The 28-year-old Lewis is from Spokane.
