Everything to Know About the 2026 American Music Awards: Nominations and More
The 2026 American Music Awards are headed to Sin City in May and fans can already get their hands on tickets to the show.
CBS announced on April 14 that Taylor Swift leads the nominations for this year's event with eight after the success of her 2025 album The Life of a Showgirl. Unlike other awards shows, fans can attend the live event, which takes place on Memorial Day.
In addition to a possible appearance by Swift at the Las Vegas event, fans will get to see Queen Latifah back as the host after more than 30 years.
"I am so excited to return to the American Music Awards stage to host this year," Latifah said in a statement. "It's been an incredible year for music and there is no better place to celebrate than in Vegas."

When Are the 2026 American Music Awards?
The 2026 AMAs will take place on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25. The show will broadcast from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, the largest venue in the show's history, after making the move from California to Nevada last year.

The awards show will be airing live on CBS and Paramount+ at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
How Do You Get Tickets to the 2026 American Music Awards?
Unlike most awards shows, fans can purchase tickets and attend the AMAs. Tickets are currently on sale through AXS. Prices range from $156 for upper-level seating to around $259 for middle-level stubs and $460 for floor seats.
Doors open for the AMAs at 3:30 p.m. local time, with guests expected to be in their seats by 4:45 p.m. Late arrivals will be able to enter during commercial breaks.
