Simone Biles Says She's ‘Spiraling' Over Spending $23K on Glam Squad
Simone Biles is just as shook as Us with her glam expenses.
Biles, 29, took to TikTok on Monday, April 27, to question the amount she spent to look her best on the red carpet. "If you're a celebrity, athlete, influencer, these questions are for you," she started the video. "I need to know if this is normal."
"I know going outside is expensive as f*** these days, but like, is it this expensive?" Biles asked. The gymnast went on to explain that she was shocked to see a "grand total of $23,000" on her invoice, including a fee from her stylist and hair and makeup team. "I just want to know, is that f***ing normal?"
Biles notably stunned in a one-shoulder feathered mini dress and an elegant updo during the Laureus World Sports Awards on April 20.
"I get inflation, but if that's the new norm, y'all can have it. Y'all will never see me at another event," Biles continued. "I'm going to sit my ass right here where it's free. I've been kind of spiraling since then."
She continued, "I see y'all at a lot of these events, and there's no way you're paying these prices each and every time."

"I was going to say like $6-8k max 😵💫 don't you have to return the gown?" Biles responded, "Yes 🥴."
Influencer Madeleine White also shared her two cents. "I stopped using stylists years ago cuz it's cheaper to buy a gown I at least get to keep lol… I would expect to pay around 1k each for hair / makeup 🙃."
Alpine Ski Racer Mikaela Shiffrin also weighed in on the topic, commenting, "Girl, I've been wondering the same 🤯." Biles again replied, "Texting you asap, we can cry together."
