Power out most of Wednesday at Thurston County Courthouse
The Thurston County courthouse complex in west Olympia near Lakeridge Drive experienced a power outage Wednesday, a spokeswoman for the county said.
Meghan Porter said the complex lost power at about 9 a.m. It was not restored until about 4 p.m.
Buildings 1, 2 and 3 were affected by the outage.
Porter said Thurston Superior Court was able to continue with hearings and the Auditor’s Office continued to do manual recording for essential documents.
There also was a power outage at the courthouse complex on Sept. 25, but Porter said the two incidents were not related.
