In every relationship there is a boss. And dog siblings are absolutely no exception to this rule.

User @angelalani11 took to social media to share her hilarious pair of dogs, a very patient Rottweiler and a very persistent Yorkshire Terrier. The little Yorkie is on a mission to oversee the neighborhood and they're using their Rottie sibling as the perfect seat and boost in order to do so.

Yorkies are known for being big personality bundles in tiny packages, so it's no surprise this little pup is in charge of not only the house, but also their much bigger sibling. A common stereotype with Rotties is that they're super aggressive, but they can actually be very sweet and loyal and protective of their family.

Social media users got a kick out of the pair's dynamic saying:

"She's like stop moving so I can see damn!"

"I bet the Yorkie is the boss of the house."

"I love the size difference they just don't care lol"

How to Introduce Dogs to New Siblings

When introducing dogs to their new housemates, it's important to take your time and do things slowly but surely. Start by meeting somewhere neutral, not at home, like a park, sidewalk, or another outdoor space. Start by walking them together and after a few minutes let them sniff each other and say hello.

Once at home, remove things that can be seen as "high value" from shared spaces like treats and toys. The new sibling should have a space that is just theirs to make their safe space. Keeping the pups to a routine and ensuring they are always supervised will have the bonding and getting comfortable with each other as they learn to cohabitate.

Dogs are a huge part of our families and it's so great seeing them bond with the other animal siblings in the house. Every pair has their own relationship, no matter how big or small.
