Nobody Expected This Siamese Cat To Sound Exactly Like a Haunted House

The sound coming from this Siamese cat doesn't sound remotely real.

It sounds like somebody slowly opening the world's oldest haunted house door in the middle of a thunderstorm while a ghost watches from upstairs.

I mean I actually thought it was the door for a hot second there #catlover#funnycat#catsoftiktok#vet#vetlife

original sound - Dr Zoe the Vet

TikToker @zoethevet shared this hilarious clip showing a beautiful Siamese cat meowing right as a kennel door opens, and honestly, the sound is so bizarrely accurate that people immediately thought the squeak was coming from the door itself.

The caption perfectly explained the confusion:

"That's the best da*n squeaky kennel door impression I have ever heard."

And honestly? That may still be underselling it.

The caption continued:

"I mean, I actually thought it was the door for a hot second there."

At Different Moments in the Clip:

• The kennel door opens.

• The Siamese cat meows.

• The sound perfectly matches a squeaky hinge.

• Everyone watching immediately loses their minds.

• The cat somehow remains deeply serious throughout the entire performance.

Commenters Immediately Began Pitching Hollywood Careers for the Dramatic Little Feline:

• "Name him WD40."

• "That's not a cat, that's a haunted house."

• "That cat is hired to be my squeaky door guy."

• "You need to copyright that sound."

• "He has a career in Hollywood!"

Honestly, the funniest part is that Siamese cats are already famous for being extremely vocal and dramatic, but this little guy somehow unlocked an entirely new genre of cat communication.

Meanwhile, my Orange Cat, Tarkus. occasionally screams like somebody accidentally stepped on an accordion (he has dementia), so honestly, kitties continue to prove they can make sounds no living creature should naturally produce.

Why Are Siamese Cats So Vocal?

@bigmallyfitness

The sass is strong with this one. Does your cat talk back this much??#siamese#vocalcat#catsoftiktok#talkingcat#bluepointsiamese

original sound - Thomas and Eric

Siamese kitties are known for being one of the most talkative and expressive cat breeds. They communicate frequently with humans using loud, dramatic, and highly distinctive vocalizations.

Siamese Cats May Vocalize To:

• Seek attention

• Express excitement

• Ask for food

• Respond to humans

• Show affection

• Comment dramatically on absolutely everything happening in the household

Many Siamese cats also develop unique-sounding meows that become instantly recognizable to their families.

And judging by this haunted little gentleman, at least one Siamese cat appears to have been raised inside an abandoned Victorian mansion.
