Zoo Visitor Captures Heartwarming Moment Nursing Chimpanzee Notices Her Baby
Mothers seem to recognize each other no matter the species, which is why this touching zoo moment is resonating with so many people. Amy (@mrsamyangell) was visiting her local zoo with her new baby and probably didn't have "bonding with a chimpanzee over motherhood" on her bingo card for the day, but that's exactly what happened.
After a mama chimpanzee, who was nursing her own baby at the time, spotted Amy with her infant, she became visibly curious and gently approached the glass for a closer look at the tiny human. Mothers everywhere are jealous of the sweet interaction, too.
@mrsamyangell Pulled up with my pram to see the chimpanzee and her baby feeding and she got up to come over and see my baby. She sat trying to peer in until I turned the pram around and showed her my baby inside #chimpanzee#zoo#babyanimals#mum#mom

Amy explained more in the caption. "Pulled up with my pram to see this chimpanzee feeding her baby, and she got up to come over and see my baby. She sat trying to peer in until I turned the pram around and showed her my baby inside."
Talk about a moment she'll never forget!
