As millions of Americans around the country make their final preparations for the holiday, which is observed on the last Monday in May, they might be wondering where to get their favorite budget friendly items.

Dollar Tree Is Open on Memorial Day

Dollar Tree, which boasts over 9,000 locations, is open on Memorial Day. However, some stores will be operating with different hours to allow employees to spend time with their families.

Dollar Tree offers a wide selection of consumable, variety, and seasonal merchandise that includes many trusted national and regional brands.

Dollar Tree Recently Raised Its Prices

Those shopping at Dollar Tree in recent years may have noticed the store raised its prices, which eventually led to a statement from the company.

"We've expanded our product assortment at over 6,000 of our stores offering our customers even greater deals at additional price points above $1.25. We will continue to expand our assortment to even more stores in the coming years," it said.
