In celebration of @violetthesingingcat's birthday week, her devoted mom has been sharing some of the sweet kitty's best and most adorable moments. This throwback of little Vi as a precious kitten is almost too much for the heart to take. As an official "welcome home," the Tortie girl's social media debut showed how ready she was for her time in the spotlight.

Tortoiseshell Cats Are Known for Sharing One Funny Trait
Though Tortoiseshell refers to a coat pattern and not a breed, these funny felines seem to all have one major thing in common: sass! Known by Tortie parents as "Tortitude," these cats are nothing if not quirky, vocal, and fiercely independent.
The running joke that Torties have opinions about everything is true, at least based on my experience with our Tortie, Nugget. Like Violet, she's gorgeous and sweet, but also does things her own way. How any cat turns out depends on a variety of factors, but it's funny to think that these cuties are all a little spicy!
Violet's throwback photo is adorable, but this birthday girl has grown into one pretty princess with a hint of "Tortitude" for good measure!
