Stunning Split-Faced Kitten Can't Stop Looking at Her Rescuer With Love
There is simply no telling what kind of kitten you'll find on the street. People often have this idea in their head of what a "stray" cat looks like: scraggly, dull. Sad. While that's true a lot of the time, there are also tons of gorgeous kittens born into that world, too!
For example, this split-faced kitten. This is the kind of kitten people would pay a pretty penny for at a cattery, and yet, a woman happened to find her randomly on a walk! It was so sad to see, but now, they're thriving together:

Court has labeled herself as the ultimate goose lover, which is definitely true, but this kitten might be above the geese for her. She found her a few days ago while she was walking her dog, and there were no siblings or mother around, so she took her in. The kitten is definitely at least a few weeks old.
Court was undecided about whether to keep her at first: she has 3 cats and a dog already. However, when the universe drops a chimera kitten into your lap, there's really nothing you can do. Holly is here to stay!

Holly is already getting along great with her new siblings, including the dog! She's still little, so her mom makes sure she's supervised whenever they're spending time together. Most of the time, though, Holly prefers to stay close to Mom, who fights off people who volunteer to adopt her:

I could definitely see a beautiful cat like this weakening my resolve, too. It'll be okay! Everything will be worth it to see Holly living happily ever after!
Should You Keep Kittens You Find?
A lot of the time, the expectation is that you find a kitten and you keep them forever. There's even a sweet name for it: the Universal Cat Distribution System. If the UCDS chooses you, you're supposed to keep the cat, according to the internet. And, if you find them in the middle of the night, your brain will tell you to, too.
If you find a kitten, you're welcome to keep it. However, you're welcome to find them a different home or even bring them to a shelter, too: there's no shame in that. Adopting a kitten is a huge responsibility. You should only take them in if:
- You have the funds to care for them.
- You have enough space.
- You have enough time.
- You're positive they're not chipped/don't belong to someone already.
If keeping them will cause you stress financially or decrease the quality of life for other pets in your home, it's best to let them go. That's okay! Holly got lucky. She found a mom and family who can handle her!
