Although many agree that the match between Argentina and Cabo Verde was one of the best of the tournament, it was hard to stay focused when a celebrity was in the stands.
Sitting in the suites alongside other iconic celebrities, Brodie became the first invited pup at the World Cup.
It wasn't long before the stadium cameras caught his presence and put him on the big screen.
Even though all eyes were on the pitch and Lionel Messi, Brodie still managed to steal some of the attention away from the game.
Viewers didn't hold back in their awe either, with one commenter mentioning, "Ohhhh of course they let Brodie in to the World Cup!!"
"Brodie and Cliff turning their heads at the same time is priceless and so adorable. The World Cup just got better with Brodie!" another person said.
Another user commented on Brodie's safety headphones with, "He looks so funny with his orange headset! A humanized dog, with a golden heart."
All ready for the action with his safety headphones for protection, Brodie is clearly made for these superstar events. As one user mentioned, "Brodie, the biggest star at the event!" and it couldn't be more true. Even though the thrilling match went into extra time and ended with a heart-stopping last-minute goal from Argentina, there's no denying that Brodie definitely won this match and the entire tournament.
