In-N-Out Expands with 6 New Locations in California, Tennessee, Arizona, Utah, and Idaho

In-N-Out Burger is continuing its steady expansion across the U.S., announcing six new restaurant locations that will open across five states.

While the beloved burger chain remains committed to a relatively small footprint compared to other fast-food giants, fans in California, Tennessee, Arizona, Utah, and Idaho will soon have another place to grab a Double-Double and Animal Style fries.

Six New Restaurants Are on the Way

According to In-N-Out's "Grand Openings" page, the following locations are listed as "opening soon":

  • Commerce, California
  • Stockton, California
  • Madison, Tennessee
  • San Tan Valley, Arizona
  • St. George, Utah
  • Twin Falls, Idaho

The expansion comes just weeks after the company opened its second-largest restaurant by seating capacity on the Las Vegas Strip and a new location in Timnath, Colorado.

Don't Expect an East Coast Expansion

Although In-N-Out has expanded beyond its California roots in recent years, CEO Lynsi Snyder-Ellingson recently made it clear that the chain has no plans to head farther east anytime soon.

Speaking at Pepperdine University earlier this year, Snyder-Ellingson said an East Coast expansion won't happen "in my lifetime."

"We won't compromise on quality just to expand," she said.

She also reiterated that In-N-Out has no plans to introduce online ordering or pickup, saying the company intends to stick with the approach that has made it one of America's most popular burger chains.

More Growth Is Still Coming

The six new restaurants continue a period of steady growth for In-N-Out, which has expanded into states including Colorado, Texas, Idaho, and Tennessee in recent years.

The company has also announced plans to open its first restaurant in New Mexico by 2027, giving even more customers a chance to experience one of the country's most iconic fast-food brands.
