Mother’s Day 2023 is almost here, and brunch is still one of the most popular options to celebrate the holiday. Luckily, Olympia-area restaurants are offering a plethora of options this year.

The Olympian compiled a list:

The Cove at 311 Capitol Way N.

A relatively new addition to the local restaurant scene, Olympia’s Cove restaurant is open seven days a week. Their Mother’s Day brunch offerings include breakfast from 10 a.m. to noon, and their new happy hour menu will be available all day. Reservations are available all day for all party sizes.

Anthony’s Homeport at 704 Columbia St. NW and Anthony’s Hearthfire Grill at 1675 Marine Drive NE

Anthony Homeport has loaded up on their brunch menu with traditional favorites like eggs Benedict and rhubarb-based cakes, which will be available from Friday through Sunday. Other options include breakfast tacos, seafood omelet and smoked salmon scramble. Nearby Anthony’s Hearthfire is offering special Mother’s Day dinners that include steak and seafood options. Reservations are strongly recommended.

Budd Bay Café at 525 N. Columbia St. NW

One of Olympia’s longtime classic favorites, Budd Bay Café, is taking reservations for its Mother’s Day brunch. The waterfront dining spot’s menu will include prime rib, smoked salmon mousse with lox, cheesecake, cobbler and more. Reservations are being taken until full.

Row at 208 State Ave. W.

Right in the heart of downtown Olympia, just off from the port’s boardwalk, is Row. The restaurant is especially big on brunch, open weekly every Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Octapas Cafe at 610 Water St. SW

The Octapas Cafe is also home to a weekly weekend brunch from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. with delicacies like beignets, oysters on the half shell and stuffed french toast. Reservations are required through their online system.

Olympia Oyster House at 320 Fourth Ave. W.

The Oyster House is planning for a busy Mother’s Day weekend with its scheduled brunch time slots over the weekend. Seating will be inside only and off their standard menu. Reservation starting time slots range from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Each reservation will last 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Other Olympia Mother’s Day offerings

If you’d like to treat Mom to something a bit different than the traditional restaurant brunch this year, the Olympia area has a variety of options, including some that support charitable organizations.
