- 1 lb. boneless beef sirloin steak, thinly sliced
- ¼ tsp. salt
- ¼ tsp. pepper
- ¾ cup barbecue sauce
- 8 large slices country-style white bread,
- 12 oz., toasted
- ½ cup drained pickles
- 4 slices sharp white Cheddar cheese (4 oz.)
Instructions
Heat broiler. Toss beef with salt and pepper. Coat 12" nonstick skillet with cooking spray; heat over high heat. In two batches add and cook beef, stirring, until browned, 1–2 min. Remove from skillet.
In skillet, warm barbecue sauce over medium-low heat; stir in beef. Remove from heat. Place 4 slices toast on baking sheet. Dividing evenly, top toast with pickles, beef and cheese. Broil until cheese is melted, 1 min. Top with remaining toast.
