EDITOR’S NOTE: This information has been retracted by the Timberland Regional Library system.

With the arrival of 2022, Timberland Regional Library locations are changing their hours, with some branches opening earlier or staying open later as part of an effort to expand and adapt library access to the needs of local communities.

One of the most significant changes is that the West Olympia Timberland Library located at Capital Mall will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays to provide access to mall visitors.

Other Thurston County library hours are:

Lacey: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Tenino: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

Tumwater: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Yelm: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

Some hours have yet to be set. New operating hours for all TRL locations, including those in neighboring counties, can be found on the New Year, New Hours information page at TRL.org, and on individual location pages.
