LoveOly Shop & Dine promotion returns to entice visitors downtown

The Olympia Downtown Alliance’s LoveOly Shop & Dine promotion will return the week of May 23-30.

The event encourages residents and visitors to patronize downtown shops and restaurants and earn merchandise as a thank you.

“We have an amazing sense of community in downtown Olympia,” said Todd Cutts, executive director of the Olympia Downtown Alliance. “LoveOly Shop & Dine week allows everyone to shower their favorite shops and restaurants with some love while having fun and collecting cool merch. We’ve heard from customers and business owners alike that the sense of community downtown during Shop & Dine week is extraordinary.”

Here’s how it works:

• Visit downtownolympia.org on the morning of May 23 to print a passport and get a list of participating shops and restaurants, or get a passport from a participating business.
• Earn five stamps by purchasing a $10 item or more, earning one stamp per visit. Turn in your passport for LoveOly items such as aprons, blankets or cell phone wallets at Drees, the Popinjay or Encore Chocolates & Teas.
• Each time you play, you’ll be entered to win gift certificates for participating businesses.
