French bakery Left Bank Pastry has found its fourth and final home, the business announced on Facebook.

According to a photo that accompanies the social media post, the business will be moving to Fourth Avenue East at Edison Street Southeast, just east of Ralph’s Thriftway.

“Moving a bakery for the third time is no fun, but being better able to serve our awesome community is a dream come true,” the owners said in the post. “We will finally be able to offer seating and our kitchen is four times as large as our current space. The new location is absolutely beautiful and we are still putting the final touches on it so stay tuned for updates.”

For now, the patisserie can still be found at its current home, 1001 Fourth Ave. E.

Other business happenings

Cider Fest 2022, which will feature ciders from more than 50 cideries, is returning to Huntamer Park in Lacey from 1-8 p.m. July 30, Cider Barrel owner Troy Kirby announced.

The Cider Barrel, which can be found in downtown Olympia at 168 Fourth Ave. W., is catering the event, he said.

“This is a great opportunity for us to get both small and regional cideries in the same place, for a unique event,” he said. “Everyone has a brew fest around here, but we’re the only cider fest.”

The festival will benefit Charlie’s Fund, a nonprofit that helps cover veterinary bills. It is run by two Nisqually Veterinary Clinic employees, Kirby said.

Cider Fest attracted 350 people last year. The goal this year is to double attendance. The cost to attend is $30 pre-sale and $35 at the door. For more information, go to: www.olyciderfest.com.
