People news: Credit union names Gary Swindler chief operating officer

Washington State Employees Credit Union has promoted Gary Swindler to chief operating officer from chief member officer. He will report directly to Kevin Foster-Keddie, chief executive officer.

Swindler also leads the credit union’s mortgage, investment and lending divisions.

Swindler joined the credit union in 1989 as a loan officer. Since then he has overseen the credit union’s network of branches, its contact center and a digital services team.
