Pocketbook relief coming to Thurston County natural gas customers

Puget Sound Energy natural gas customers in Thurston County can expect a lower bill in the mail this month due to a drop in the cost of wholesale natural gas.

Beginning Nov. 1, the average PSE natural gas bill for someone using 68 therms a month will fall 15 percent, or $12.54, to an average of $68.61, according to the state Utilities and Transportation Commission.

Natural gas bills are set to fall throughout the state at other utilities as well, affecting more than one million natural gas customers.
