People news: Prominent legal publication includes Olympia Attorney Heather Burgess in 2016 edition
Olympia Attorney Heather Burgess is set to be included in the 2016 edition of The Best Lawyers in America in two areas: environmental law and environmental litigation.
For inclusion in the 2016 publication, 6.7 million votes were analyzed. Lawyers are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be listed, according to a news release.
Burgess is the co-founder of Phillips Burgess PLLC, which has offices in Olympia and Tacoma. Her legal experience includes permitting and zoning matters under the Growth Management Act, Shoreline Management Act and Federal Endangered Species Act.
She’s also an Army veteran who continues to serve as a Judge Advocate in the Washington Army National Guard.
