UW Medicine opens first neighborhood clinic in Olympia
The UW Neighborhood Olympia Clinic — the university’s first clinic in South Sound and 11th overall — opened Monday.
Clinic services at the 12,600-square-foot facility, which opened on Ensign Road across from Providence St. Peter Hospital, include care for acute illness and injury, women’s health care, preventive medicine, medical screening and chronic disease management, according to a news release.
Saturday appointments begin Jan. 16 and urgent care services will start in June.
The clinic has three providers on staff: Dr. Eunice Chen and Dr. Hollie Matthews, both family medicine physicians, and Theresa Duggan, an advanced registered nurse practitioner.
The clinic, 3525 Ensign Road NE, is set to have an open house from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
