People news: Stock joins SCJ Alliance, LaPointe earns new certification
Maria Stock has joined SCJ Alliance in Lacey as its finance manager.
Stock previously spent more than 21 years as an assistant controller and payroll manager of a geotechnical consulting firm in San Diego, California. She will be based in Lacey and oversee the financial operations of SCJ’s five offices in Washington and Colorado.
Formed in 2006, SCJ Alliance is a civil engineering and design company, focused on transportation, the environment, urban planning and landscape architecture.
Nancy LaPointe, a certified financial planner with Navigate Financial in Lacey, has earned the retirement income certified professional designation from The American College in Bryn, Pennsylvania.
LaPointe has worked in the financial industry for more than 17 years and is the founder of Navigate Financial. She received her MBA from Frostburg State University in 1993 and became a certified financial planner in 2003.
