The Thurston Economic Development Council announced the winners of its 2015 business recognition awards during a luncheon at the Red Lion Hotel on Thursday.

Here are the winners:

▪ New business: Single Handed Consulting.

▪ Small business: Welch’s Appliances.

▪ Corporate employer: Batdorf & Bronson Coffee Roasters.

▪ Nonprofit: South Sound Parent to Parent.

The following businesses were named as finalists: Cross Fit Lacey Training Day, The Lanai Cafe, GHB Insurance, Washington Business Bank, Derma Medical Spa, Capital Medical Center, Stormans Inc., KAOS Community Radio, and Olympia/Thurston County Crime Stoppers.
