Job alert: Fred Meyer, QFC hiring up to 800 in region

Fred Meyer and QFC stores throughout Puget Sound are hiring up to 800 people across multiple departments.

Stores across the country are hosting open interviews at their stores on Tuesday.

Those interested in a position with the grocers should apply online at jobs.fredmeyer.com or jobs.qfc.com. The websites are compatible with mobile devices, including tablets and smartphones.

After filling out an application, candidates can visit a store between the hours of 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. Tuesday. Appointments are not necessary.

Kroger, which owns Fred Meyer and QFC, hired more than 11,400 people at the last single-day hiring event in May.
