Thurston County reports 4 more cases of COVID-19 Tuesday
Thurston County reported four new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, with no new deaths.
The new cases on Tuesday were a man and a woman in their 40s, a man in his 50s, and a man in his 70s.
The new cases increased the county’s overall total cases to 1,059. Of that total, 876 people have recovered or are recovering, 75 have been hospitalized at some point during their illness and 15 people have died, the county data show.

▪ Pierce County announced 21 new cases on Tuesday, giving the county 6,983 total. One more Pierce resident has died of COVID-19, bringing the total number of deaths to 156.
▪ Lewis County is reporting a total to 408 cases, with four deaths total as of Tuesday. Of the total, 191 are considered recovered.
▪ Mason County, as of Tuesday, had 363 cases.
▪ Grays Harbor County, as of Monday night, had 25 new cases for a total of 304 cases and six deaths.

Washington state Department of Health operations were severely impacted by wind storm damage Tuesday, leaving its website and phones down. Staff was not able to update COVID-19 data.
In the U.S., about 6.3 million cases and more than 189,500 deaths had been reported as of Tuesday, Johns Hopkins University data show.
Globally, more than 27.4 million cases had been reported and about 895,000 people had died as of Tuesday, the data show.
