Residents and visitors to downtown Olympia can now receive a rapid antigen test for COVID-19 and receive results almost immediately by going to the Washington Center for the Performing Arts, according to a press release.

Testing hours also have been expanded.

The Washington Center has partnered with the city of Olympia and Curative, a health care startup company, to provide on-site testing for Washington Center and Harlequin Productions artists and audiences, as well as the general public, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays starting last month. Now the kiosk will be open on weekends and show nights.

Rapid antigen tests will cost $59 and results will be delivered by email or phone in 15-30 minutes, according to the release. Rapid tests can be purchased from the Washington Center Box Office and brought to the Curative kiosk.

Curative will continue to provide free PCR tests, which deliver results within 24-72 hours from the sample receipt, according to the release. Free PCR tests are available by walk up or by scheduling an appointment at https://cur.tv/wacenter.
