Washington Gov. Jay Inslee had a news conference Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022, at 2:30 p.m. to give an update on the state’s COVID-19 response amid an omicron variant surge that has led to record daily cases in the state.

The governor was joined by Washington Department of Health Secretary Umair Shah; Washington DOH Deputy Secretary for COVID Response Lacy Fehrenbach; Washington Military Department Adjutant General Bret Daugherty; and Senior Policy Advisors Molly Voris and Amber Leaders.
