Why did the ducks cross the road? We don’t know but it was pretty darned cute.
A Mallard duck that nested with eight ducklings next to The Mark in downtown Olympia earlier this week has moved the family.
Restaurant owner Lisa Owen said she and two other women followed the brood on Wednesday as it marched to the nearby Heritage Park.
Owen said about a dozen motorists stopped so that the ducks could safely cross the street to their new home.
