Expect delays this week at 3 intersections in Olympia

Drivers can expect delays this week on Martin Way at Lilly Road, Sleater-Kinney Road and the west side of College Street, according to the city of Olympia.

The work begins Wednesday to grind and overlay fresh asphalt at those intersections, as well as to upgrade curb access ramps to meet current Americans with Disability Act standards.

Here’s the work schedule:

▪ July 5 to Aug. 1: Remove concrete and ADA access ramp work, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

▪ Aug. 2-4: Grind existing pavement at all three intersections, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

▪ Aug. 7-11: Pave College Street, Lilly Road and Sleater-Kinney Road, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

▪ Aug. 14-22: Complete remaining construction work.
