City to close Division Street to repair water damage

Olympia drivers should avoid Division Street Southwest between Walnut Road and Muirhead Avenue on July 11.

City crews will close the southbound lane of the road to remove and replace asphalt damaged during a recent water main break. Work will begin at 8 a.m. and is expected to be completed by 5 p.m. One lane will remain open, and flaggers will guide traffic through the area.

The work is weather dependent.
