A motorcyclist was injured and airlifted to Haborborview Medical Center in Seattle on Friday evening after a crash in Bucoda.

According to the Washington State Patrol:

A blue 2002 Harley Davidson XL 1200 motorcycle was traveling northbound on state Route 507 at milepost 7. The motorcyclist attempted to avoid traffic and the bike came to rest in the northbound lanes. The rider, described as a 38-year old man from Tenino, was ejected from the motorcycle.

The crash was reported at about 6:30 p.m. and its cause is under investigation. It’s unknown if drugs or alcohol were involved, officials say.
