An Oregon man in his 90s, who was involved in a car crash near Elma on Wednesday, later died at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The man was identified as William F. Anderson, 93, of La Pine, Oregon. Anderson died Thursday with his family at his side, according to the state patrol.

About 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, Anderson allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign at US Highway 12 and Keys Road, four miles west of Elma. A westbound vehicle struck Anderson’s car, then pushed it into a truck.

The 51-year-old Hoquiam man driving the westbound vehicle was injured and taken to Summit Pacific Medical Center. The 67-year-old Grayland man in the truck was not injured.
