Olympia woman airlifted after motorcycle crash near Shelton

An Olympia woman had to be airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after a motorcycle crash Sunday in Mason County.

According to Washington State Patrol, the 49-year-old woman was riding south on U.S. Highway 101 seven miles south of Shelton when her 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle left the road to the left and struck a cable barrier.

The crash occurred at about 5:10 p.m. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
