Need a laptop to do your homework, Tumwater students? The library has you covered

The Tumwater Timberland Library has 15 new laptops for Tumwater School District students to check out and use this school year.

The new program is a partnership between the school district, which purchased the laptops, and the library, which manages and checks out the equipment. The service began this summer.

Students with Tumwater School District identification cards and Timberland Library cards can check out the laptops to work on school projects.

The laptops may be used in the library only, but students may connect to free Wi-Fi there.

The Tumwater Library is at 7023 New Market St. For more information, contact the library at 360-943-7790, or visit TRL.org.
