A midsize SUV crashed into a house in Lacey and injured a woman, a Lacey battalion chief said Sunday.

About 10 a.m. Sunday, Lacey Fire District 3 was dispatched to the 7000 block of Stone Street Southeast. That’s where fire crews found the woman, who apparently was outside the house at the time of the crash, Battalion Chief Ryan Fox said.

She was later rushed to Providence St. Peter Hospital. The woman was conscious when she left the scene, he said.

Information about the driver was not immediately available.
