The Northwest tour of “A Night with Janis Joplin” has been canceled, including the performance scheduled at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts on Oct. 12, the Washington Center announced Wednesday.

“We were so excited for this performance, and our patrons love attending Broadway shows at the Center. This is indeed disappointing news. At this time, we do not have any details regarding the option of rescheduling the show,” Jill Barnes, executive director of the Washington Center, said in a statement.

The Washington Center box office staff will contact each ticket buyer directly to discuss options, including exchanges, donations, and refunds. If you would like to contact the box office directly, call 360-753-8586 from noon to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
