Intercity Transit bus service affected by train derailment
Intercity Transit has released information about today’s bus service in light of the impact the Amtrak train derailment is having on traffic.
Northbound service to Tacoma today will depart from the Olympia Transit Center as follows:
- 2 p.m. - Route 612
- 4:05 p.m. - Route 603
- 5 p.m. - Route 612
- 7:30 p.m. - Route 603
These routes will stop at the Lacey Transit Center, the Hawks Prairie Park & Ride and the Martin Way Park & Ride.
Southbound routes from Tacoma will leave 10th and Commerce at 1:55 p.m., 3:40 p.m., 6:20 p.m., 7:10 p.m. and 9:20 p.m. today. Stops will be as planned until the buses reach Lakewood Station. They will then detour to State Route 512 and State Route 507 through Roy and Yelm. Riders should expect significant delays.
