Sex offenders register as transient with Thurston County Sheriff's Office
On Thursday, the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office sent out community notification about two sex offenders who have registered as transient. They are:
▪ Ryan M. Ellenberger, 40, a Level 1 sex offender. He pleaded guilty in Thurston County Superior Court to one count of indecent liberties on July 2, 2013, and was sentenced to 34 months confinement after Ellenberger, then 34, sexually assaulted an 11-year-old girl. He is described as white, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 180 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes.
▪ Evan M.O. Pittenger, 17, a Level 2 offender. He pleaded guilty in Clallam County Juvenile Court on Aug. 13, 2015, to one count of first-degree child rape and one count of first-degree child molestation and was sentenced to 52-65 weeks confinement for each county, after Pittenger, then 14, sexually assaulted an 8-year-old boy.
Pittenger is white, 5 feet 3 inches tall, 140 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.
