No injuries were reported in a single-car crash in the 9100 block of Waddell Creek Road Southwest on Friday, according to Thurston County Sgt. Carla Carter.

A lane of the road was closed during the investigation and while crews removed the car from the scene. The crash was reported at 8:34 a.m., according to a Thurston County dispatcher.

The driver was an 18-year-old man who lives in the area but has only been driving for a few months, Carter said.

“The driver was issued an infraction for speed too fast for conditions as a result of the investigation,” Carter told The Olympian.
