River Ridge High School cheerleaders are state champions for the second year in the row.
The Lacey school’s team placed first in the 2A/3A/4A non-tumbling small division on Saturday during the state tournament at Battle Ground High School on Saturday, according to the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association.
The Hawks received a division best score of 63.75, edging out teams from Decatur and Steilacoom high schools.
