Hey Seattle, here’s your chance to try an Olympia coffee roaster
The Olympia Coffee Roasting Co., which operates a store across from Olympia City Hall as well as one in west Olympia, has opened a store in Seattle at 3840 California Ave. SW.
It is Olympia Coffee’s fourth location and its first outside of Thurston County. The business also has plans to open a store in Tacoma at 2601 N. Proctor St., the site of a former Radio Shack. That location is expected to open in late March, co-owner Oliver Stormshak said Wednesday.
The West Seattle site was designed and constructed by the Olympia-based Artisans Group and built with sustainably sourced materials provided by Tumwater-based Windfall Lumber.
The new location is open 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
