Grays Harbor teen is injured after she drives off road to avoid deer
An Oakville teen was taken to Providence Centralia Hospital Saturday night after she was injured trying to avoid crashing into a deer, according to the Washington State Patrol.
About 11:45 p.m. Saturday, the girl, 16, was westbound in a 2007 Ford Focus on US 12 at milepost 37 when a deer entered the road. She swerved to avoid it and drove off the road and into an embankment.
The 16-year-old was wearing her seat belt, according to the state patrol.
