Later this month, Capitol Way will lose a lane for 3 to 4 weeks. Trees need trimming
City crews will close one lane of traffic a block at a time on Capitol Way in downtown Olympia later this month for tree pruning.
Starting Aug. 20, crews will work a block at a time from State Avenue Northeast to 11th Avenue Southeast, according to a city of Olympia news release.
The work is expected to take three or four weeks.
