Pedestrian dies in hit-and-run crash on US-12 in Lewis County
An unidentified pedestrian was killed Monday night on US 12 in Lewis County when a vehicle hit the person and left the scene, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The State Patrol does not have a description of the vehicle, but thinks it has right, front-end damage.
About 8:30 p.m. Monday, the vehicle was eastbound on US 12 at Gershick Road west of Mayfield Lake when it struck the pedestrian, who the State Patrol said was in the lane of travel.
