Providence’s Christmas in the Forest fundraiser gets ready to shine

Providence Christmas In The Forest, an annual holiday decorations fundraiser now in its 31st year, kicks off Friday with a gala dinner and auction, followed by public viewing from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Throughout both days, there will be activities and entertainers, including performances by South Puget Sound Community Orchestra and Alleluia! Handbell Ensemble and visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

The event is Providence St. Peter Foundation’s largest fundraiser, raising nearly $11 million over the years.
