Sinkhole prompts road closure in northeast Olympia
Central Avenue Northeast in Olympia was closed Tuesday as city crews worked to repair a sewer line that caused a sinkhole in the road.
Central Avenue was closed between Massey Avenue Northeast and Ethridge Avenue Northeast. The work was expected to last from early afternoon through the evening.
Drivers, pedestrians and bicyclists were asked to avoid the area until the repair is complete.
