Motorcyclist crashes into back of pickup on I-5, state patrol says

Traffic was delayed Sunday on northbound Interstate 5 after a motorcyclist crashed into the back of a pickup truck, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The 48-year-old Centralia man riding the motorcycle was hurt and taken to Providence Centralia Hospital. The man driving the pickup was not injured.

The crash occurred about 4 p.m. Sunday near milepost 80. The state patrol says the motorcyclist was speeding and weaving in and out of traffic before he hit the pickup truck.

The Centralia motorcyclist faces a possible charge of driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license, according to the state patrol.
