State Sen. John Braun town hall meeting: Braun is inviting 20th Legislative District residents to a town hall from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Museum, 100 SW Veterans Way, Chehalis.
Harlequin Productions’ 2020 season announcement: The announcement will be made at a gathering from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the State Theater, 202 Fourth Ave. E., Olympia. The evening will begin with hors d’oeuvres and a specialty cocktail from Dillinger’s Cocktails & Kitchen, a silent auction, live lobby music with a full cash bar, and live on-stage entertainment. The evening continues with the onstage program, “Our Transformation and the 2020 Season Announcement.” Following the program, guests may enjoy desserts, mini backstage tours, more live entertainment in the State Theater lobby, and a champagne toast to 2020. Bunco Night fundraiser: Harlan's Homes 4 Hope Relay For Life Team is hosting a Bunco Night at the VFW Hall, 2902 Martin Way E, Olympia. Tickets are $25 each. Thurston County Fair Foundation auction: The auction runs 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Expo Hall at the fairgrounds, 3054 Carpenter Road, Lacey. Silent and live auctions. Local beer and wine will be featured and live music will be provided by Kynan Shane. Tickets are $35 per person or $50 for two. Proceeds will be used to improve the fairgrounds. Blintzapalooza: The 31st annual Blintzapalooza community fundraiser runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Temple Beth Hatfiloh, 201 Eighth Ave. SE, Olympia. Thousands are expected to attend to purchase bagels, blintzes, and books. Frozen blintzes will be available for purchase to take home. This is a cash-or-check-only event. All are welcome. Proceeds benefit local nonprofit organizations. Since 1988, approximately $150,000 has been donated to nearly 50 projects and programs at 30 different local organizations.
Women’s History tours wrap up: Catch the last of the women’s history tours being offered between 1-4 p.m. at the Olympia Historical Society & Bigelow House Museum, 918 Glass Ave. NE, Olympia. Visitors will learn about the women who lived in and visited the 1860s-era Bigelow House as well as the collections of the house illuminating women's history. Highlighted will be Ann Elizabeth White Bigelow, her mother and daughters as well as the house’s most famous visitor, Susan B. Anthony and the legacy of Mary Ann Campbell Bigelow. Really Big Shoe 13: This Entertainment Explosion event to benefit homeless kids in eight local school districts and Community Youth Services runs 2-4 p.m. at The Washington Center for the Performing Arts, 512 Washington St. SE, Olympia. Forest Stewardship planning course kicks off: This WSU Extension series is designed to educate and inspire landowners to become stewards of their forest and equip them with the knowledge and resources needed to achieve their management goals. The course will be held at the US Forest Service Office at 1835 Black Lake Blvd. SW, Olympia, on Monday evenings starting April 1. Registration is $100 and includes nine class sessions, a site visit from a forester, a digital reference library, personalized maps, and one-on-one assistance in writing a management plan. Open house on dog park possibilities: Currently there are no dedicated off-leash dog areas in Olympia’s park system. Olympia Parks, Arts & Recreation has developed concept plans for three sites of varying sizes and will collect feedback at an open house 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Olympia City Hall, 601 Fourth Ave. E, Olympia. An Evening on Equal Pay: The event will begin with a 6:30 p.m. social, followed by a 7 p.m. panel at the Women's Club, 1002 Washington St. SE, Olympia. Panelists include Evergreen State College economics professor Savvina Chowdhury, former Commissioner of Public Lands Jennifer Belcher, and Jane Field of the American Association of University Women. Following the panel and questions, “Legalize Equality,” a short film on the Equal Rights Amendment, will be shown with discussion. Information: jennifer.minich@pa.net
Where is the Water series: The fourth program in the League of Women Voters speaker series will be on stormwater and toxic runoff. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the program begins at 6 p.m. at The Olympia Center, 222 Columbia St. NW. Free.

Capital City Newcomers Club: The monthly meeting and luncheon will be from 11:30-1:30 p.m. at Pellegrinos Event Center, 5757 Littlerock Road, Tumwater. Olympia magician Jeff Evans will perform. Olympia Farmers Market starts new season: The market will celebrate the opening of its 44th season with bell ringing, entertainment and vendor specials. Roy Zimmerman concert: Singer-songwriter Roy Zimmerman will preform songs from his latest recording, “RiZe Up,” a blend of heart and hilarity, at 7:30 p.m. at Olympia Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 2200 East End St. NW, Olympia. Tickets at the door; $20 suggested contribution will help support tiny houses to alleviate homelessness.
